Dan Drezner on being denied tenure

Dan Drezner is a professor of political science at the Fletcher School at Tufts, and writes one of the best blogs on political science and international relations that you’ll find.  If you’re in IR and aren’t reading Drezner, in the immortal words of Dr. Kohen “you might want to get on that.”

Drezner was famously denied tenure at the University of Chicago in 2006 in a decision that more or less mystified the IR community and still gets talked about today.  Drezner wrote a piece about it in the Chronicle of Higher Education today, and it is very interesting reading.
