Reshaping World Bank World Development Indicators Data

If you use data from the World Bank’s World Development Indicators dataset you know that the default format it puts the data in is highly inconvenient for normal statistical analysis.  To put it in the same format as every other political and economic dataset we use, be sure that when you export the data you have:

Country in “Row”

Series in “Columns”, and

Time in “Page”

This will save you from having to reshape the data in your statistics program.
