Chronicle has an article about Comps

I know many of you are now beginning to prepare for comprehensive exams in April.  The Chronicle of Higher Education just published a piece by a guy reminiscing about his own comps preparation in history, which you can find here.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think reading 400 books in 3 months is a good way to do much of anything, much less prepare for comps (we’ll talk about this Friday) but I thought I’d pass it on regardless.
