For Collaborators

Google recently released a online tool called “Fusion” that allows easy collaboration using cloud computing. The idea is that one can easily upload a data set to Fusion (up to 100 mb right now, eventually up to 250 mb) and make alterations to the data set online. Because changes or alterations are updated in real time, collaborators don’t have to worry about missing an important change, as long as the change is made to the online data. This may be something of interest to many in the department, especially those collaborating over long distances.
